GrX Fremont Mercy Fund
WHAT is the Mercy Fund?
The Grx Fremont Mercy Fund is a donations-based, monetary fund that was specifically created to assist those in need. The Fund's main goal is to help meet some of the short-term physical needs of people in our congregation and surrounding community.
WHY do we have a Mercy Fund?
The Mercy Fund is one expression of Jesus' call to "Go and do likewise [show mercy]," which Jesus commands in The Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). The Mercy Fund is simply one way for the church of God to be a conduit of mercy in response to the mercy given to us.
HOW can I request help from the Mercy Fund?
An application must be completely filled out and submitted to GrX Fremont. Applications are available through this website (see link below), in Sunday service, and upon request. Completed applications can be snail mailed directly to the GrX Fremont office (2811 Faber St., Union City, CA 94587) or emailed to mercyfund@grxfremont.org.
WHAT can I expect after I submit an application?
Given the limited amount of the fund, there is no guarantee that any specific application will be approved. Once an application is submitted, GrX Fremont’s Leadership Team will review each application and render a decision. For additional details, please see SECTION 4 of the Mercy Fund Application.
