"As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." - James 2:26

You are saved by faith alone, but that faith is never alone. That is the essence of Ephesians 2:8-10 as well as James 2:26. Just as Christ came to serve, so every follower of Christ serves God and others. A growing church is a serving church, and each one of us has a God given gift that is to be used in expanding His kingdom.
