Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Volunteer) Job Description

Do you have some free time these days? Do you wanna help out your beloved church staff? We're looking for a highly-motivated individual to volunteer some time each week to help out at the church office. Below is a detailed list of qualifications, duties, and responsibilities. Qualifications:
  • A personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior;
  • A commitment to the vision and values of Great Exchange Covenant Church;
  • A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred;
  • Minimum two years related experience preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and desire to work in a team environment;
  • Excellent time management skills and attentiveness to detail;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Director of Operations (DO) with depositing Sunday tithe every week (preferably on Wednesdays) and providing receipt
  • Send out GrX Fremont weekly update email every week (DO)
  • Assist Lead Pastor (LP) with sermon research
  • Send out KidZplace volunteer reminders every Thursday (LP)
  • Schedule KidZplace volunteers one month ahead (LP)
  • Purchase KidZplace supplies as needed (LP)
  • Assist Worship Pastor (WP) with facility search
  • Create Sunday bulletins every week (WP)
  • Write up weekly update and bulletin announcements as needed (WP)
  • Assist with website updates (WP)
Compensation:
  • This is a volunteer position.
